The Legend — Gashadokuro
Old Japanese ghost stories talk about a yokai built entirely out of grudges: the Gashadokuro, a skeleton the size of a building, formed from the bones of people who died of starvation or war and never got a proper burial. It wanders at night, and the only warning you get is a ringing in your ears right before it grabs you. It's less "monster under the bed" and more "the collective rage of everyone the world forgot about, now sixty feet tall."
That's why this one doesn't sit still on one panel — the skeleton crawls off your back and reaches around to your chest, bones creeping over the seam like it's climbing out of the shirt itself. For the people who've been counted out, buried, and came back anyway — bigger, louder, harder to ignore. Not for everyone. That's the point.
